YEAR THREE

My third year on the allotment, with the ground dug over in the autumn and broad beans sown in November and now in flower.
Springtime is now here and there is a lot going on, parsnip, carrots, peas, radish, Kohlrabi seeds sown and onion sets planted. One row each of  Rocket and Arron Pilot first early potatoes planted.
Watering needs to be done as we seem to be having a dry spell at the moment.
Broccoli and sprouts transplanted to their growing position and netted to keep off the many wood pigeons that seem to be about at the moment and to keep the dreaded Cabbage White butterflies at bay. Watering these plants on a daily basis until established.
